Ratings: Robert Parker 92/100, RVF 16.5/20, Gault Millau 16.5/20
The Perrins lease 10.5 hectares located between the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Ouvèze (a tributary of the Rhône), from which they produce this Grenache-dominated cuvée, skillfully structured by Syrah. A full-bodied, distinguished, and robust wine, with noticeable tannins, yet without harshness. Tertiary notes and a hint of minerality highlight the precision of this cuvée. A Gigondas that is truly at home in its terroir!

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring estates in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
