This blend of Chardonnay and Viognier, aged entirely in barrels, combines rich, exotic aromas with more mineral notes of chalk. The palate is fresh and precise. A particularly successful cuvée from this vintage.

Rated Estate (2022 Guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Château des Tourettes owns a lovely vineyard on the Apt plateau. Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens have almost entirely restructured the vineyard, demonstrating their commitment to creating a distinctive terroir through the replanting of massal selections. The wines remain true to Jean-Marie Guffens’s style, consistently striking a balance between fully ripe grapes and a mineral edge on the finish. Jean-Marie and Maine are refocusing production on white wines and discontinuing the Guffens du Sud wine trading business.
