Bettane & Desseauve

(2013 Vintage Notes)

Known for the complexity of their floral aromas, Chardonnay, Roussanne, and Viognier come together in a blend with captivating aromas of white fruit and subtle woody notes. The palate is rich, almost tropical, and the finish is lingering. A "Grande Trilogie" that truly lives up to its name!

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Château des Tourettes owns a lovely vineyard on the Apt plateau. Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens have almost entirely restructured the vineyard, demonstrating their commitment to creating a distinctive terroir through the replanting of mass-selected vines. The wines remain true to Jean-Marie Guffens’s style, consistently balancing fully ripened grapes with a mineral edge on the finish. Jean-Marie and Maine are refocusing production on white wines and discontinuing the Guffens du Sud wine merchant business.
