The 2007 vintage was awarded 2** (Remarkable Wine) and a "Coup de Coeur" in the Guide Hachette
This cuvée (formerly Prestige), renamed Nessun Dorma, owes its name to the tenor aria from the opera Turandot. Richard Maby, a winemaker with a passion for opera, delivers a beautiful Lirac that plays a score combining power and finesse, with lovely silky tannins and a long finish.

Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
This estate, known for its consistently high-quality wines—particularly its Lirac in all three varieties and its Tavel—was founded in 1950 by Armand Maby. In 2005, his grandson Richard took over the vineyard, which spans 53 hectares, mostly situated on the rounded pebbles of the Vallongue plateau; the vines are cultivated using natural methods and have been in the process of converting to organic farming since 2019. Since 2011, the eminent Rhône oenologist Philippe Cambie has been advising the estate.

A fine Lirac from a challenging vintage, which retains its red fruit aromas over time (2013) and can still age for a few more years.
