Domaine François Merlin

It all began in 1987, when François Merlin planted his first vineyard while working as a vineyard laborer at Domaine Rostaing. After selling his first vintage as an AOC Condrieu in 1990, he dedicated himself exclusively to his own estate, Domaine François Merlin, in 1999, before expanding his operation and being joined by his son Laurent in 2013. A wonderful family story of two enthusiasts for wine and viticulture. In their vineyards, mostly on very steep slopes, they seek to convey the expression of the terroirs with very controlled oak, plenty of fruit, and minerality.
