Domaine Vindemio - Ventoux Ignis 2022
93/100

“A bright and perfectly balanced wine”
Ignis means "fire" in Latin, which immediately brings to mind the region's radiant sunshine! This wine is expressive and well-balanced, with floral and fruity notes. The Clairette and White Grenache come together on the palate to create a subtle and pleasant roundness.

About the estate:
Founded in 2006 by Jean Marot, a proponent of organic farming, this 15-hectare estate is divided into two sections: one south of Mont Ventoux, the other closer to the Dentelles de Montmirail. It was acquired in 2019 by the Combe family, owners of Dom. de la Fourmone in Vacqueyras, who entrusted management to Florentine and Albin (5th generation) to produce exclusively Ventoux wines, certified organic.
