About the estate:
Véronique Boudau and her brother Pierre have been at the helm of the family estate since 1993. They decided to breathe new life into the property, which spans some 50 hectares of excellent terroirs at the entrance to the Agly Valley. Their efforts have paid off: the entire production is bottled and sold, particularly through a network of restaurants and wine shops. A sure bet, the estate has begun the conversion of its vineyards to organic farming. Véronique’s daughter has just joined the venture.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
Crushed raspberries and ripe black fruits characterize this wine, made from Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache grown on limestone soils; it is fairly dense without being overly compact or tight. It has lovely fruit density and depth; with age, it will develop character and gain even more elegance. It already possesses great charm and a lovely finish. (RVF Magazine No. 682, Tour de France, July–August 2024)

About the wine:
The core and hue are a deep, brilliant purple. Pure and aromatic, with notes of blackcurrant, cherry, lavender, and garrigue. The palate is dense, with a nice touch of freshness and ripe tannins; the smooth flavors of black fruit, garrigue, mint, and tobacco lead to a long, full-bodied finish.
