Domaine Modat

While working as a court clerk in Paris, Philippe Modat discovered a passion for winemaking. He then divided his time between Paris and Roussillon before settling permanently on the estate. Founded in 2007, Domaine Modat has already come a long way. Now, his two sons are brilliantly carrying on the legacy. They are the new faces of a Roussillon vineyard in the midst of a renaissance.

Domaine Modat consists almost exclusively of century-old vines and has been certified organic and biodynamic since 2015. Their vineyard spans 25 hectares.

Domaine Modat works with respect for the grapes and strives to be as non-interventionist as possible during winemaking.
