Le Roc des Anges - Reliefs 2013
16/20
RVF
“The 2013 reds are authentic and well-structured: Reliefs, with its more southern character and spicy notes, has gripping tannins. ” (The Guide to the Best Wines of France 2015 - RVF). A very intense and complex Côtes du Roussillon Villages, with spicy and vanilla notes, full-bodied on the palate yet refined and deliciously mineral, offering pronounced tannins that promise a long aging potential. A modern and authentic wine!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2024 guide) 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)
About the estate:
Bright. That’s surely the adjective that best describes Roc des Anges, both in terms of the style of the wines and the modern, aesthetically pleasing winery run by Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet. They built their estate from the ground up, and today it spans 45 hectares of vineyards. These are highly drinkable wines, relatively low in alcohol for the region, where meticulous viticulture and a well-timed harvest prevent any heaviness in the wines. Biodynamics accounts for part of this uniqueness in Roussillon, as does the very distinctive terroir of Montner, with its very fine schist that behaves like sand. This estate consistently delivers some of the most exquisite dry wines in the entire department.
