"A full-bodied white with a beautiful balance!"
Kaya Blanc is a blend dominated by white and gray Grenache, with a touch of white and gray Carignan. The nose is refined, revealing notes of white fruit and hazelnut, supported by a lovely minerality. The palate is crisp and mouthwatering, enhanced by aromas of fresh almonds.

Kaya Blanc 2023 sets the tone with notes of orange blossom and citron. Its briny and energetic character forms the foundation of its beautiful personality.
About the estate:
The Domaine des Soulanes was founded in 2002 by Cathy and Daniel Laffite in the Maury region. The couple had previously worked these same vineyards for more than ten years alongside the former owner before acquiring part of the estate. The vineyards are located at the foot of the rocky peaks dominated by the Château de Queribus. The estate’s wines are full-bodied yet balanced, energetic, and intense.

Review and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on November 7, 2024
An uncomplicated white wine, straightforward and linear, with beautiful intensity of yellow stone fruits, as well as subtle floral and woody notes, all structured around a briny backbone that brings plenty of freshness and a caressing richness that provides support. The medium-length finish seems to me to suffer from a touch too much bitterness. So while it may not be the easiest wine to pair, this Catalan wine works well with pasta topped with Collioure anchovies and basil, as well as with Mediterranean sardines grilled on the BBQ. Rating = 3.8.
