“A rich white wine with a lovely balance!”
Kaya Blanc is a blend dominated by white and gray Grenache, with a touch of white and gray Carignan. The nose is refined, featuring notes of white fruit and hazelnut, underpinned by a lovely minerality. The palate is crisp and mouth-watering, enhanced by aromas of fresh almond.

Review by Mr. Gilles D. Published on November 7, 2024
An uncomplicated white wine, straightforward and linear, with a lovely intensity of yellow stone fruits, as well as delicate floral and woody notes, all structured around a briny backbone that brings plenty of freshness and a caressing richness to support it. The medium-length finish seems to me to suffer from a touch too much bitterness. So while pairing isn’t necessarily easy, this Catalan wine works well with pasta featuring Collioure anchovies and basil, as well as with Mediterranean sardines grilled on the BBQ. Score = 3.8.
