Domaine des Soulanes

  Domaine des Soulanes was created in 2002 in the commune of Tautavel, in the Maury production area. Its name comes from the geographical term "soulane," which refers to a south/southeast-facing hillside. Domaine des Soulanes is located in a natural corridor surrounded by scrubland, at the foot of the rocky peaks of the last Cathar stronghold, the Château de Quéribus. 

The Domaine des Soulanesvineyard covers an area of 17 hectares and is divided into four main blocks consisting of 16 plots. The Domaine des Soulanes is planted exclusively with Mediterranean grape varieties: Grenache (black, white and grey), Carignan (black, white and grey), Syrah and Mourvèdre.
