Maury Dry
The small vineyard of Maury is the most northerly of the Roussillon vineyards, mainly on the 1,000 hectares of the Maury commune and on certain "lieux dits" in neighboring communes. The appellation covers four communes in the Pyrénées-Orientales to the north-west of Perpignan: Maury, Tautavel, Saint-Paul de Fenouillet and Rasiguères.

Protected to the north by the Corbières mountain range and to the south by the rugged foothills of the Pyrenees, the vineyards of Maury is a natural corridor 17 km long and 4 km wide. Of the 1,000 hectares of black earth in the appellation zone (Aptian schist, non-metamorphic and often decomposed), 90% is planted with Grenache noir, complemented by Carignan, Syrah, Mourvèdre and sometimes Lledoner Pelut.

In 2011, the Vignerons de Maury cooperative obtained an extension of the Maury appellation to Maury Sec.
