Domaine des Soulanes

  Domaine des Soulanes was established in 2002 in the town of Tautavel, within the Maury wine region. Its name derives from the geographical term “soulane,” referring to a hillside facing south or southeast. Domaine des Soulanes is situated in a natural corridor surrounded by garrigue, at the foot of the rocky peaks of the last Cathar stronghold, Château de Quéribus. 

The Domaine des Soulanesvineyard covers an area of 17 hectares and is divided into 4 main blocks comprising 16 plots. The Domaine des Soulanes is planted exclusively with Mediterranean grape varieties: Grenache (black, white, and gray), Carignan (black, white, and gray), Syrah, and Mourvèdre.
