Wine rated (2019 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

Straightforward and open, with good clarity; notes of herbal tea and verbena; full-bodied on the palate, with delightful sweetness and rich floral notes; a savory finish with hints of mirabelle plum.

About the estate:

When Jean-Mary and Catherine Le Bihan took over the family farm, they set their sights on the hillsides of Duras. It was a wise decision, as they have elevated the estate to one of the best in the Southwest. In this appellation that is struggling to gain recognition, this estate, using a standard blend of grape varieties, produces original wines that are enjoyable to drink young or built for aging, such as the superb Perrette and the 2014 Noisetiers, tasted from a magnum. Clémence, one of their daughters, has joined them.
