Markus Molitor - Riesling Auslese** Bernkasteler Badstube 2017
96/100
Robert Parker
The Bernkasteler Badstube Auslese ** (Green Capsule) 2017 Riesling is an astonishing wine with a bright, fairly pale lemon color and a super-precise, refined, and beautifully reductive bouquet of perfectly ripe, healthy Riesling berries intertwined with very fine aromas of crushed slate. It is astonishing in its clarity, brightness, and crisp Moselle character! On the palate, it is a very elegant, spicy and well-structured Badstube Auslese that beautifully combines maturity, concentration and finesse. The wine is both rich and delicate, well-structured but with a stimulating racy character, crystalline and beautifully refined, with a long and crisp finish. (Wine Advocate 2019)

Clear, bright lemon yellow color. Rich and complex nose with notes of lemon and green apple. Racy and refined on the palate with notes of green apple. Delicious.
