Robert Parker
"A rare geological terroir that gives this cuvée its unique character, with vines growing in volcanic rhyolite!"
"A very elegant dry Riesling from the Moselle, barely medium-bodied, but with very seductive aromas of white peach and wild strawberry. Lovely juiciness on the front and mid-palate. A persistent and very harmonious finish with remarkable delicacy of berries and spices. Drink now or keep." (James Suckling 2023)

About wine:
The Riesling Ürziger Würzgarten Spätlese (white cap) 2022 opens with aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry, as well as lovely slate aromas on the nose. On the palate, it is an elegant Riesling but quite dry and phenolic with a tight tannic structure but also intensity and a certain residual sweetness that is not yet really balanced. 11% alcohol declared. Natural cork. Tasted at the estate in August 2024. 2029-2050
