“'Sensuality' (Axelle Red)”

The estate’s most exclusive cuvée—and undoubtedly its most sensual. A floral wine with notes of iris and violet. Its delicate tannins offer fruity notes while maintaining elegance and lightness.

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable vintage, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Originally from Bresse, Anita Khunel, after a brilliant career as a road cyclist (she competed in the World Championships in Slovenia in 1996!), decided to return to the family estate that same year. There, she learned the craft of viticulture and winemaking before establishing her own winery in 2015: Domaine Anita. Today, the estate encompasses six appellations: Moulin-à-Vent, Chénas, Morgon, Fleurie, Beaujolais, and Beaujolais-Villages. Known for her structured style, Anita Kuhnel achieves greater precision and balance with each passing year. 2017 is a great success. We’re not far from that third star!
