"Now a winemaker in Fleurie, Grégoire Hoppenot tends his 9 hectares of vines like a garden and is fortunate to benefit from a beautiful diversity of terroirs: Les Moriers, Les Garants, Poncié, La Roilette, Les Roches. As for the Morgon plot, it is located in Bellevue (a terroir of Corcelette)... Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, and vinification is done using whole clusters. Grégoire Hoppenot is aware of how fortunate he is to work with such exceptional terroirs, and he conveys this in his wines, which are touching in their sincerity and unpretentiousness, while respecting the qualities and limitations of each vintage.
