About wine:
An abundance of fruit, ripe apple, lychee, and exotic fruits, with breadth and persistence: this delicious, fresh wine makes your mouth water and calls for another glass. Complete and nuanced, like its blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris with Muscadelle and Sémillon, it will appeal to everyone.
About the estate:
In 1290, the Fontenille site in Entre-deux-Mers already had vineyards. Then attached to the Abbey of La Sauve-Majeure, this estate with its clay-siliceous terroir became independent in the 17th century. Since 1998, it has been run by Stéphane Defraine, who manages 56 hectares of vines, including 20 hectares of white and 36 hectares of red, currently undergoing conversion to organic farming.

Average wine, too many hatchet stars. Its taste is a little dull.
