About wine:

An elegant pale, luminous color adorns this superb Cabernet-dominant rosé, which opens unreservedly with intense aromas of red berries (strawberry, raspberry), citrus (grapefruit), and flowers. The palate harmoniously combines mineral and fruity freshness with volume and tender, round flesh. Irresistible.

About the estate:

In 1290, the Fontenille site in Entre-deux-Mers already had vineyards. Then attached to the Abbey of La Sauve-Majeure, this estate with its clay-siliceous terroir became independent in the 17th century. Since 1998, it has been run by Stéphane Defraine, who manages 56 hectares of vines, including 20 hectares of white and 36 hectares of red, currently undergoing conversion to organic farming.
