Rated estate (2016 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

This light-bodied Pauillac is supple and elegant, with lovely fruit. The oak needs a little more time to integrate.
About the estate:
In 1998, Bordeaux wine merchant Patrick Bernard (Millésima) purchased this 49-hectare vineyard, located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur, part of which extends into Pauillac and produces the Fleur-Peyrabon cuvée.
Guide Hachette des vins

Deep red with intense cherry-red highlights, the color is inviting. The bouquet, as powerful as it is pleasing, blends red fruits with spices and cocoa. Full-bodied, dense, and well-balanced, the palate reveals a solid structure, promising good aging potential.
Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Wine rated (2015 guide) 14.5/20 (Good)
About the wine:
What character! This wine needs time to settle into its intense, tannic profile. The wine needs to open up; its fleeting notes of fruit (plum) and spice (cumin) will come together over time.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2014 guide) 87/100 (Very good wine)
About the wine:
One of the few Cru Bourgeois wines in the Pauillac appellation, this wine boasts an intense ruby-plum color and a delicate bouquet of black cherries and blackcurrants. It has good acidity and ripe tannins. This is a fine Cru Bourgeois that will continue to improve over the next decade.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2016 guide) 15,5/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2016 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the wine:
In 2011, La Fleur Peyrabon reveals juicy fruitiness and smooth tannins.
About the estate:
Owned by wine merchant Patrick Bernard (Millésima), Peyrabon produces two wines. The first, from the Haut-Médoc, is easy to drink and has moderate aging potential. The second, named Fleur de Peyrabon, comes from well-located vineyards in Pauillac (4 hectares), but the extraction and aging process sometimes give it a slightly dry character. The wines are well-structured and offer good value for money.
