As with all of the Maison's wines, absolute priority is given to expressing the terroir and respecting the vintage. This is the case with this delicious cuvée, rich in red fruit aromas: raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, with lovely spicy notes on the palate and light, silky tannins. A wonderfully convivial bottle! - screw cap

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the estate:
This house is now run by Frédéric Drouhin, assisted by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe for the vines. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The house relies on a biodynamic vineyard that is particularly well endowed with great whites, in Côte-de-Beaune but also in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
