A richly colored wine, starting out purple and deepening with age to a deeper ruby hue, eventually turning violet
Nose
The bouquet opens with a medley of red and black berries (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), evolving into notes of cooked prune, peppery, animal, and undergrowth nuances, as well as moss and mushroom.
Palate
This red Burgundy is very lively on the palate, well-structured, with a supple and round body. Its tannins and fruit engage in a delicate interplay, where the texture balances the intensity of the secondary aromas. Full-bodied and rich, it is, in a word, vinous.
