Pinot Noir
delicate
chicken supreme with mushrooms

Like a map unfolding, the landscape of Savigny-les-Beaune stretches between Montagne de Corton and Beaune. With its ruby color, this Savigny is discreetly tannic, preserving red fruit flavors. Roundness and volume, balance and finesse, in just the right proportions, often evoke raspberries, with beautiful elegance.

Terroirs

On gently sloping hillsides, rising to an altitude of between 250 and 400 meters, we find the alluvial cone of the Rhoin and then the geology of the Montagne de Corton. On the Pernand-Vergelesses side, the south-facing exposure benefits from gravelly soils, dotted with ferruginous oolite. Further down, the reddish-brown limestone becomes more clayey and stony. Opposite, the hillside faces east on sandy limestone soils.
