"An exceptional Grand Cru
"The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru shows beautifully, unfolding in the glass with scents of citrus oil, yellow pear, fresh bread and custard. Medium-dense to dense, it's elegantly textured, precise and fine-boned, with sly depth and persistence despite its understated profile. It's very well made." (Wine Advocate 2020)

About the wine:
Subtle notes of chalk, earth, vanilla, cream and stone give this wine an irresistible nose. The palate sweeps away these notions with a choppy smoothness and apparent ease. Everything is rooted in concentration and a core of fruit. This wine is balanced, concentrated, discreet, long and lasting. The stony, creamy finish is a real plus. Drink until 2035.
