The nose of this Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Charmont red is intense and vibrant, offering notes of cherry and truffle, with a hint of toasted bread. The aromatic complexity is impressive, with spicy and fruity notes, as well as hints of cigar, incense, and bark. Very nice attack on the palate, which is round, fresh, and full-bodied, with tannins and acidity typical of Hautes-Côtes that "sizzle" on the palate, demonstrating the great aging potential of this characterful wine with its beautiful freshness...

About the estate:

More than just a novelty, it's a renaissance. The return of this old house is a welcome sight. The man who revived it is Laurent Delaunay. He is the great-grandson of the founder and has established himself as a leading figure in the Languedoc wine industry, specializing in wines for everyday enjoyment. It is in Burgundy, on his own land, that he once again demonstrates the full extent of his talent and vision. We particularly recommend the Nuits-Saint-Georges vintages, vinified with extreme care and attention to tannin extraction, resulting in voluptuous, tender wines that are always straightforward. The entire range is flawless.
