"Sublime!"
"This wine receives special attention from Delaunay, and it delivers well on its promise, with a medium to deep garnet color, and pronounced blackberry fruit with smoky, mineral notes. The texture is tannic, but nothing rustic here, just exceptional fruit purity and length. It is blended from grapes purchased from Belle Croix, Les Longecourts and Aux Allots. In abundant years, the house often downgrades some of the premier cru barrels, but in 2021, it presents itself independently and quite effectively." (Decanter 2023)

3*Star rating (High-quality production, a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
More than a novelty, a rebirth. The return of this old house feels good. The man who has revived it is Laurent Delaunay. He is the founder's great-grandson, and has established himself as a benchmark for Languedoc pleasure wines in supermarkets. It's in Burgundy, on his home turf, that he once again displays the full extent of his talent and vision. We particularly recommend the nuits-saint-georges cuvées, vinified with extreme care and attention to tannin extraction, resulting in voluptuous, tender wines that are always upright. The entire range is beyond reproach.
