“Sublime!”
"This wine receives special attention from Delaunay, and it certainly lives up to its promise, with a medium-to-deep garnet color and pronounced blackberry fruitiness accented by smoky and mineral notes. The texture is tannic, but there’s nothing rough about it—just exceptional fruit purity and length. It is blended from grapes sourced from Belle Croix, Les Longecourts, and Aux Allots. In abundant vintages, the estate often downgrades certain premier cru barrels, but in 2021, this wine stands on its own and does so quite effectively.” (Decanter 2023)

About the estate:
More than just a new release, it’s a rebirth. The return of this historic winery is a welcome sight. The man who brought it back to life is Laurent Delaunay. He is the great-grandson of the founder and has established himself as a leading figure in the world of approachable Languedoc wines in the mass market. It is in Burgundy, on his own land, that he once again demonstrates the full extent of his talent and vision. We particularly recommend the Nuits-Saint-Georges vintages, vinified with extreme care and a focus on tannin extraction that yields voluptuous, tender wines that are always well-structured. The entire range is impeccable.

It offers a range of wines primarily from the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, ranging from regional appellations to grand cru.
