The Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits is located in the hills above the village of Premeaux Prissey, on a plateau at an altitude of 300–400 meters. With its beautiful straw-yellow color and greenish highlights, the wine offers citrus aromas with complex notes of honeysuckle and a hint of apricot. The tangy, briny palate is truly tempting. A wonderful companion for aperitifs and meals, balancing freshness and richness.

Rated estate (2021 guide): 4* Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)
About the estate:
Run by the Devillard family, who also own Château de Chamirey in Mercurey, the vineyard is situated on remarkable terroirs in the southern part of the Côte de Nuits, and its grapes are vinified in the spirit of modern wines, seeking high ripeness and deep, voluptuous textures. The results have been impressive in recent years, even at the village level, with wines that are now very refined—a departure from the more robust styles we used to know. The 2018 vintage has captured all its potential here; these will be wines for aging, and indeed for very long aging in the case of the Nuits and Échezeaux. There is also a delightful red Burgundy.
