"This full-bodied Chardonnay captures the very essence of the Mâcon-Solutré terroir, with an aromatic richness that is simply delightful!"
“With its brilliant pale gold color, this Solutré-Pouilly reveals aromas of exotic fruits and stone fruits, followed by notes of fern and fresh hay. On the palate, it is briny, crisp, and long-lasting, centered on flavors of white fruits reminiscent of peach and pear. A fresh profile that calls for a basket of oysters. ” (Guide Hachette 2026)

About the estate:
In 1946, Francis Auvigue joined forces with three other winemaker friends to establish a small wine merchant firm specializing in Pouilly-Fuissé. Jean-Pierre and Michel, Francis’s grandsons, took over in the mid-1970s and expanded into other appellations of the Mâconnais region. In 2017, the company acquired a 7-hectare vineyard estate and moved into the former church in Fuissé, which was renovated into a winemaking facility and tasting room. Today, Sylvain Brenas, Francis’s great-grandson, and Céline Hirsh are at the helm.
