About the estate:
In 1946, Francis Auvigue joined forces with three other winemaker friends to found a small wine merchant firm specializing in Pouilly-Fuissé. Jean-Pierre and Michel, Francis’s grandsons, took over in the 1970s and expanded into other appellations in the Mâconnais region. In 2017, the company acquired a 7-hectare vineyard and moved into the former church in Fuissé, which had been renovated into a winemaking facility and tasting room. Today, Sylvain Brenas, Francis’s great-grandson, and Céline Hirsh are at the helm.
