"This Pommard 1er Cru is a real charmer with an irresistible richness!"

"This highly acclaimed cuvée takes its name from a heart-shaped vineyard located within the Charmots 1er Cru. On the nose, it offers a lovely fruity bouquet of strawberry and raspberry, followed by a rich palate with supple, refined tannins. A Pommard that is already very approachable and can be enjoyed in its youth. 2026–2030” (Guide Hachette 2026)

Rated estate (2022 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)

About the estate:

Although he has been based in the town of Meursault since 1998, Rodolphe Demougeot has been developing his estate since 1992; its core 7.8-hectare vineyard consists mainly of a fine selection of Pommard and Savigny-lès-Beaune crus. The red wines, made from meticulously sorted grapes—whole or destemmed—and vinified in concrete tanks, possess an energy that ensures they are drinkable even in their youth, with a rich, full-bodied style well-suited for restaurants and those who prefer to drink their wines young. The whites, meanwhile, offer a crisp, clean, and structured profile.

Rated estate (2022 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

Rodolphe Demougeot founded his winery in 1992. He primarily produces full-bodied, intense red wines that age exceptionally well. Today, they are harmonious, having shed the harsh finishes that characterized past vintages.
