"This Pommard 1er cru is an irresistibly delicious charmer!

"This much-talked-about cuvée takes its name from a heart-shaped clos within the Charmots 1er cru. On the nose, it reveals a beautiful palette of strawberry and raspberry fruit, followed by a mouth-filling mouthfeel, with supple, refined tannins. A Pommard that's already very approachable, to be opened in its younger years. 2026-2030" (Guide Hachette 2026)

Domaine rated (guide 2022) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)

About the domain :

Although Rodolphe Demougeot has been based in Meursault since 1998, since 1992 he has been developing an estate whose 7.8-hectare heartland consists mainly of a fine representation of the Pommard and Savigny-lès-Beaune crus. The red wines, made from meticulously sorted grapes, destemmed or not, vinified in concrete vats, have an energy that makes them drinkable from a young age in a gourmet style, very well suited to the restaurant trade and to those who like to drink their wines young. As for the whites, they offer uprightness and verticality.

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

Rodolphe Demougeot founded his domaine in 1992. His red wines are energetic and dense, and age very well. Today, they are harmonious, freed from the hard finishes that marked past vintages.
