About the estate:
The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe in the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and has established itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.

The 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles has a crisp, fresh nose with hints of earthiness and notes of pressed flowers; it’s slightly more robust than Drouhin’s Mâcon-Lugny. On the palate, it’s very well-balanced, not overly complex, but concentrated, with a crisp, mineral finish. Excellent.
