Jancis Robinson
"A Saint-Véran that showcases the full complexity of Chardonnay, with intertwining notes of jam, lemon, and honey—a true delight."
“Ripe, sweet, and rich fruit. Candied citrus peel, apricots, dried peaches. Almost honeyed! Earl Grey tea. Quite impressive for such an “inexpensive” wine. Real complexity, depth, and substance. Yet also fresh and vibrant. 2025–2030” (Jancis Robinson 2025)

About the wine:
This clear, brilliant wine is intense, offering a broad and luscious array of aromas: vanilla whipped cream, mango, lychee, peach, and lemon. It is equally appealing on the palate, with a soft, round mouthfeel enhanced by an energetic finish. 2025–2029
About the estate:
In 1946, Francis Auvigue joined forces with three other winemaker friends to found a small wine merchant firm specializing in Pouilly-Fuissé. Jean-Pierre and Michel, Francis’s grandsons, took over in the 1970s and expanded into other appellations of the Mâconnais region. In 2017, the company acquired a 7-hectare vineyard estate and moved into the former church in Fuissé, which had been renovated into a winemaking facility and tasting room. Today, Sylvain Brenas, Francis’s great-grandson, and Céline Hirsh are at the helm.
