Grown in the "En Charron" vineyard, at an altitude of approximately 300 meters, the excellent sunlight and thin limestone soil ensure this cuvée possesses great aromatic finesse. Thus, with its beautiful golden color, the wine boasts a fresh, slightly roasted nose. On the palate, one is captivated by aromas of almonds and toasted hazelnuts and a certain creaminess combined with freshness. With a few years of aging, the wine will evolve toward a truffle-like aromatic profile.

Rated estate (2021 guide) 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable vintage, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Bertrand Bachelet, a young winemaker who has been in business since 2011, runs this 13-hectare estate stretching from Maranges to Pommard. Sustainable viticulture and the Cordon de Royat training system are standard practice here, as are the massal selections developed from the estate’s oldest vines. A range characterized by wines with ripe, intense fruit. The reds, which account for the vast majority of production, are vinified destemmed in concrete tanks and feature silky tannins, while the whites, without stirring, offer roundness and aromas of orchard fruits—juicy and honeyed.
