Jancis Robinson
Located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation produces mainly white wines renowned for their exceptional aromatic expression and length on the palate. Notes of herbal tea, flowers and spices on the nose lead to a full, mature palate ideally supported by freshness and acidity. Incredible harmony.

About the domain :
Bertrand Bachelet, a young winemaker since 2011, heads up this 13-hectare estate spread from Maranges to Pommard. Sustainable viticulture and cordon de Royat are de rigueur here, as are massal selections developed on the estate's oldest vines. A range characterized by wines with ripe, intense fruit. The reds, which account for the vast majority of production, are vinified de-stemmed in concrete vats and boast silky tannins, while the whites, without bâtonnage, offer roundness and juicy, honeyed orchard fruit aromas.
