Bertrand Bachelet Estate
This 13-hectare family estate was taken over in 2011 by Bertrand Bachelet, following in the footsteps of his father, Jean-Louis. He represents the fourth generation of a line of Burgundy winegrowers. Bertrand currently cultivates 13 hectares spread across the Côte de Beaune, from Maranges to Pommard. The estate is based in Dezize-les-Maranges, one of the three villages in the Maranges appellation. This appellation accounts for the estate's largest production.

Bertrand Bachelet passionately continues the family tradition, aiming to produce high-quality wines while drawing on new techniques from modern viticulture and oenology. The goal is to make the most of each terroir in order to produce a rich and diverse range of wines. The emphasis is on meticulous work in the vineyards to obtain healthy grapes, which are essential for producing great wines. In order to best express each terroir, great importance is given to soil cultivation. From pruning to harvesting, all work at the Bertrand Bachelet estate is done manually. Vinification remains traditional, with minimal intervention, to best reveal the uniqueness and complexity of each of our terroirs.
