About the wine:
This wine is made from a selection of the finest Carménère vineyards that Errázuriz owns in the Panquehue region, in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley, where the sun and warmth allow this grape variety to reach its full ripeness with ease. In a hot year like 2019, the team brought forward the harvest date to achieve fresher notes. And this Kai is fruity, juicy, and fresh, with notes that are more fruity and floral than herbaceous, as is often the case when this grape variety is harvested early. The acidity tempers the tannins and, above all, balances the fruit’s sweetness, accentuating the refreshing quality of this Carmenère, one of the best of the vintage in Chile.
