About the wine:
Undoubtedly one of Errazuriz’s best white wines. I really love wines with personality, and this dry white wine has plenty of it. It’s a vibrant, explosive Chardonnay made from grapes grown in the Manzanar vineyard, located just 12 km from the Pacific Ocean. The cool climate of this vineyard, combined with the soil composition of schist and clay, gives this wine remarkable elegance. You can also taste the uniqueness that comes from using wild yeasts for fermentation, which takes place in French oak barrels at low temperatures. It has a fascinating aromatic intensity, releasing notes of apples, papayas, honey, limes, and crisp pears, accented by mineral and floral notes. Superb liveliness, length, and impeccable balance! Serve at 12°C. Perfect with shrimp skewers, cabbage rolls, Asian-style stir-fried pork, pork tenderloin glazed with mustard and maple syrup, or cod fillet.
