Nicolas Mariotti-Bindi

Every achievement begins with a dream. The history of this estate is living proof of that. Originally destined for a career in law, Nicolas Mariotti Bindi After studying law in Paris, he realized that wasn’t the life for him. He wanted to be a winemaker. His plan was to return to Corsica to pursue his passion for winemaking. After training first on the mainland in Beaujolais and then on his own land at the Leccia estate, Nicolas produced his first vintage in 2007. With passion and, above all, perseverance, the Nicolas Mariotti-Bindi Estate moved to in 2015 Torra Winery in Oletta. Cultivated using organic farming methods, the 15-hectare estate is managed in small plots to produce distinctive wines that remain true to their terroir. Winemaking is natural; only SO₂ is used in limited quantities, which are listed on the label. The vines are tended with the utmost respect for the land; tilling is kept to a minimum to allow the soil to regenerate during the winter and prevent any form of erosion. Harvesting is done by hand, and the grapes are placed in 500-liter boxes to prevent any crushing.
