“A unique and well-balanced Chardonnay that will appeal to anyone looking to explore new flavors!”

Made from Chardonnay grapes, Arrogance takes us on a journey from the very first whiff, opening with delicate notes of hazelnut, dried straw, and acacia. The experience continues on the palate, with those honeyed aromas persisting, accompanied by white berries, a roundness that balances with citrus notes, and a hint of saltiness on the finish.

Winery rated 1 star (A high-quality, recommended wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

He represents the tenth generation of the Badoz family in Poligny. After studying at the Beaune wine school, he returned to the estate in 2003 and opened the winery in 2004. It took him some time to transition to organic farming, but he obtained certification in 2019. The estate’s vineyards are located in the Roussots and Grands Roussots vineyard sites. Half of the estate is planted with Savagnin, though that doesn’t mean the reds should be overlooked. He pushes barrel aging a bit further on certain vintages.
