"A very approachable Trousseau—the perfect pairing for salted pork with lentils!"

A fresh Trousseau with notes of red and black berries, all supported by fine tannins that delicately structure the wine, resulting in a full-bodied, refined, and silky palate. It pairs wonderfully with small game!

About the estate:

He represents the tenth generation of the Badoz family in Poligny. After studying at the Beaune wine school, he returned to the estate in 2003 and inaugurated the winemaking facility in 2004. It took him some time to make the switch to organic farming, but he obtained certification in 2019. The estate’s vineyards are located in the Roussots and Grands Roussots lieux-dits. Half of the estate is planted with Savagnin, though that doesn’t mean the reds should be overlooked. He takes barrel aging a bit further on certain cuvées.

It's missing that little something. It's too light and tart.
