La Pèira en Damaisèla - Les Obriers de la Pèira Éditions monocépage Cinsault 2019
2019 was a low-yield year, so we decided to highlight this Cinsault vineyard, which is usually part of the Les Obriers blend. This wine is made from 100% Cinsault, a long-forgotten local grape variety, and is vinified on its own. The fruit takes center stage, with a vibrant, luscious character tinged with sweet spices. An unconventional wine with a distinct identity. Well worth a try!

I was a bit disappointed by this Cinsault. Slightly tart... Very noticeable alcohol. Not as good as the top vintages from Carol's or Les Vignes Oubliées.
