Cinsault
fruity

2019 was a low-yield year, and the idea was to set this Cinsault plot apart—a variety typically included in the Les Obriers blend. Made from 100% Cinsault, a long-forgotten local grape variety, and vinified on its own. The fruit takes center stage, with vibrancy and richness tinged with sweet spices. An unconventional cuvée with a distinct character. A must-try!

I was a bit disappointed by this Cinsault. Slightly acidic... Very noticeable alcohol. Not as good as Carol's best wines or those from the "forgotten vineyards."
