Robert Parker

Tasted from the bottle, Les Obriers 2015 is probably the best vintage of this cuvée to date (followed closely by 2016). Made from 45% Carignan, 30% Cinsault, and Syrah to round it out, it offers the classic, earthy flavors I always find in this wine, along with an abundance of sweet fruit, medium to full body, and silky tannins that linger into a superb finish. (Wine Advocate 2017 - Jeb Dunnuck) A gem!

A sunny, pulpy vintage with ripe red fruit and tobacco notes. Remarkable spicy finish. Very good value for money. Ideal with barbecued lamb chops.

2015 vintage tasted on 11/14/2019 A beautiful, well-balanced wine that focuses more on finesse than strength. Personally, I love this style of wine. The quality/price ratio is very favorable in an appellation where wines often exceed €20.

A simple Languedoc wine with an original blend of grape varieties, but lacking in character. The nose is not very expressive, the palate lacks richness and remains a little narrow, the balance is just right but the whole lacks a little definition. To be reviewed.

I didn't like this wine. Too sweet, no tannins, no body. For me, it's disappointing.
