Jean-Michel Alquier's Faugères rosé has a very pale, almost translucent color. It offers aromas of fresh fruit with a subtle floral note. On the palate, it is round, smooth, and refined, just like his other wines. A fresh and refreshing wine!

About the estate:

Sophie and Thibaud Bardi de Fourtou took over this historic estate in Faugères in 2017. The wines we tasted for this edition are the last examples of the transition between Jean-Michel Alquier and the new owners. The couple's goal? To perpetuate the style of the estate, whose vineyard is dominated by old Syrah vines from massal selections (among the first planted in Languedoc in the 1960s by Jean-Michel Alquier's father, Gilbert), complemented by Mourvèdre and Grenache. We remain attentive to this new turning point.
