“This light, airy white wine strikes a beautiful balance between freshness and richness—an easy-drinking, approachable wine perfect for enjoying as the warm weather arrives.”

The Classic Blanc, with its unique blend of Sauvignon and Piquepoul, offers a distinctive aromatic profile, combining aromas of white peach, apricot, and quince paste with notes of toasted almonds. On the palate, it has a round attack and a long finish marked by a crisp acidity.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Rated Estate (2024 Guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

After completing advanced studies in biogenetics, ampelography, and oenology, Cyril Bourgne began his career in Bordeaux (Château de Fieuzal) before embarking, alongside his wife Nadia, on a more personal winemaking venture in the Languedoc. The vineyard is meticulously maintained, allowing for the extraction of complex and refined flavors during winemaking, which is now carried out in the new cellar nestled within the Saint-Chinian landscape. The precision of barrel aging, applied to the Grand Vin cuvée—dominated by Syrah and Mourvèdre—aims to redefine the contemporary expression of Saint-Chinian.

About the wine:

Crisp and healthy. A sip of this wine is like a bite of spring salad: peas, bright green snow peas, slender asparagus, butter lettuce, a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a hint of the fruity acidity of Golden Delicious apples. Bright, appetizing, crisp, and fresh. Summer in a glass.
