Domaine de Baronarques
In 1998, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her two sons acquired a 43-hectare vineyard in the commune of Sainte-Polycarpe, near Limoux. Originally, the Domaine de Baronarques was called Domaine de Lambert, but it changed its name when the Rothschild family arrived.
After its purchase, major renovation work was undertaken on the vineyard and winery at Domaine de Baronarques. It was not until 2003 that the estate's first vintage was released, with a single cuvée. In 2008 and then in 2009, Capitelle du Domaine de Baron'Arques and Chardonnay were added successively.
