Armance B. takes its name from the first name of Frédéric Brochet’s grandmother, who introduced the art of sparkling wine to the family as early as 1899. About the estate:

At the age of twenty-three, while writing his doctoral dissertation in oenology, Frédéric Brochet established his small winery using the 49 ares of vineyards inherited from his father. This marked the beginning of Ampelidæ, which took shape in the family cellar at La Mailleterie. Since 2004, with the support of the Meuli family and a group of winemakers from the Vienne region, his vineyard has expanded to 90 hectares cultivated organically, spread over approximately thirty kilometers around Jaunay-Marigny and distributed across several properties, complemented by a wine trading business.
