About the estate:
At the age of 23, while writing his doctoral thesis in oenology, Frédéric Brochet created his small estate from his father's 49 acres of vines. This was the beginning of Ampelidæ, born in the family cellar at La Mailleterie. Since 2004, with the support of the Meuli family and a group of winegrowers from the Vienne region, his vineyard has grown to cover 90 hectares of organic land, spread over thirty kilometers around Jaunay-Marigny and divided between several properties, complemented by a wine trading business.
