"A Pinot Noir made in the Loire region with great finesse"

When Ampelidae was founded, the estate cultivated a half-hectare plot, whose cadastral number 1328 gave its name to this great cuvée. A historic wine with a subtle balance between ripe berries and sweet spices, it has extraordinary volume and perfectly integrated oak. The palate is exceptionally refined, ending with a sumptuous finish of finesse and length. Careful aging opens up promising prospects for aging potential.

About the estate:

At the age of 23, while writing his doctoral thesis in oenology, Frédéric Brochet created his small estate from his father's 49 acres of vines. This was the beginning of Ampelidæ, born in the family cellar at La Mailleterie. Since 2004, with the support of the Meuli family and a group of winegrowers from the Vienne region, his vineyard has grown to cover 90 hectares of organic land, spread over thirty kilometers around Jaunay-Marigny and divided between several properties, complemented by a wine trading business.
