Domaine Delaporte
Passed down from father to son since the 17th century, the Delaporte Estate is located in the heart of the Sancerre region, in the village of Chavignol.
Since 2010, Matthieu Delaporte, grandson of Vincent Delaporte, has been running the 33 hectares of vineyards that make up the Delaporte estate, mainly planted with Sauvignon Blanc (75% of the vineyard). He has brought a breath of fresh air to the estate by introducing manual harvesting and an organic approach (currently in conversion), without extremism, to highlight the personality of each terroir.
The Delaporte Estatehas 50 plots, with very diverse terroirs. It produces a range of seven wines: three whites, three reds, and one rosé. An estate on the rise!
