Domaine Delaporte
Passed down from father to son since the 17th century, the Delaporte Estate is located in the heart of the Sancerre region, in the village of Chavignol.
Since 2010, Matthieu Delaporte, the grandson of Vincent Delaporte, has been managing the 33 hectares of vineyards that make up the Delaporte estate, which is primarily planted with Sauvignon Blanc (75% of the vineyard). He has brought a breath of fresh air to the estate by introducing hand-harvesting and an organic approach (in conversion), without extremism, to highlight the personality of each terroir.
Domaine Delaportehas 50 vineyards, each with its own distinct terroir. It produces a range of seven wines: three whites, three reds, and one rosé. A winery on the rise!
