"This rosé is distinguished, full-bodied, and lively!"

Mourvèdre, the predominant grape variety in this blend, gives this Bandol rosé its distinctive character and originality. Fresh and delicate, this cuvée offers flavors of citrus fruits and white flowers. Its typicality lies in its broad amplitude on the palate, enhanced by a beautiful structure and a touch of acidity, leading to a complex and persistent finish with hints of spice.

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

A prominent family in Provençal wine, the Otts entered the wine industry by acquiring Château de Selle in 1912, Clos Mireille in 1930, and Domaine Romassan in 1956. Taken over by the Roederer group in 2004, the wine business continues under the leadership of Christian and Jean-François, the Ott cousins, proving that the family remains very involved and is still a shareholder. The finest vintages are all rosés and remain, with admirable consistency, among the most successful in Provence.

Rated estate (2023 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

Originally from Alsace, the Ott family settled in Provence in 1896 and acquired Romassan in 1956 (70 hectares at the foot of Le Castellet in the Bandol appellation). They also own Ch. de Selle and Clos Mireille in Côtes-de-Provence. Two AOCs and a unique bottle, inspired by Roman amphorae. The estate (part of the Roederer group since 2004) is run by cousins Christian and Jean-François Ott.
